- Each AP exam costs around $93.
- The PTSA pays about $33 per exam for everyone (varies each year).
- The school district pays another $31 per exam for students with financial need.
- The Schaertl Fund reimburses families $60 (or $29) for every AP exam where the student earns a "passing" score of 3, 4, or 5... so that the families pay nothing.
